Dwayne Johnson Congratulates Black Panther 2’s on Its Record-Breaking Opening
Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson issued his congratulations to the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Taking to Twitter, the wrestler-turned-actor responded to Wakanda Forever setting the record for the biggest November box office in North America, raking in $180 million USD. “That’s a lot of happy moviegoers around the world. Beautiful!” Johnson wrote. During its first weekend in theaters, the Black Panther sequel also managed to dethrone Black Adam, starring Johnson in the titular role, which had held the top position at the box office for several years.
