The Avengers Roasted Chris Evans for His Sexiest Man Alive Win
Former Captain America Chris Evans recently earned the distinction of becoming People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive — but not everyone was reduced to swooning over his good looks.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Evans’ Marvel Cinematic Universe co-star Chris Hemsworth revealed that the original actors from 2012’s The Avengers roasted Evans for his new title in their group text chat. As Evans is seen on the cover wearing a dusty-looking white t-shirt and posing with his hands behind his back, some of his co-stars apparently joked that it looked like Evans was being taken into custody. According to Hemsworth, “It very quickly was like, ‘What are you doing with your hands back there?’ Downey said, ‘He’s being arrested,’ I said it was a beautiful mugshot. Then Jeremy Renner said a series of things which we won’t repeat.”
