Will the MCU Ever End? Marvel Studios VP Nate Moore Responds
Marvel Studios’ Vice President of Production and Development Nate Moore doesn’t see the Marvel Cinematic Universe ending any time soon.
Speaking on The Town with Matthew Belloni podcast, Moore believes that the franchise can continue on for “a long time,” insisting that the creative teams behind the MCU still have plenty of stories to tell. “To me, Marvel movies are just movies,” said the filmmaker. “Our source material is just… It’d be like saying, ‘Hey, are movies about books gonna go on forever?’ Probably.” Despite this confidence, Moore elaborated by emphasizing that Marvel Studios can’t rest easy with the established formula. “I think we have to continue to… We can’t sit back on our laurels. We can’t think we have the answers. We have to continue to push the envelope as far as genre and what we’re willing to explore.”
