Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has teased the introduction of more Justice Society of America heroes and villains to the DCU after Black Adam.
Dwayne Johnson teases new Justice Society superheroes for the DC Universe (DCU) after Black Adam. Johnson made his superhero debut this October as the titular character in Jaume Collet-Serra’s Black Adam movie, where his superpowered character escapes his 5000-year-long imprisonment and helps save his city of Kahndaq from the syndicate, Intergang. Besides Johnson’s antihero, Black Adam also introduced the Justice Society of America (JSA) to the DCU, with Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell, and Pierce Brosnan appearing as its members Hawkman, Atom Smasher, Cyclone, and Doctor Fate. Initially, Adam and the JSA disagree over the former’s brutal ways, but eventually, they learn to cooperate, taking down the menacing supervillain Sabbac (Marwan Kenzari) together.
Now, Johnson has teased his plans to expand the Black Adam brand on Twitter. As per the former WWE champion, he wants to continue the stories of the superheroes he has already introduced, but at the same time, he wants to provide the live-action treatment to the several other JSA heroes and villains that exist in the DC lore. Johnson didn’t reveal how these new characters would be introduced; rather he hinted that details could follow shortly
