Black Adam’s Dr. Fate Doesn’t Use His Sasuke Power – And It’s For the Better
In the Black Adam movie, Doctor Fate doesn’t have a unique Sasuke-like ability – but this actually makes his team and the villains come off better.
One of the most interesting aspects about Doctor Fate in the DC books is how he’s able to use his portals. It’s all part of Nabu’s skill as a Lord of Order, helping prevent the Lords of Chaos from invading Earth. Given that the Helmet of Fate can navigate space and time, which is linked to Fate’s tower as well, it’s quite similar to what Sasuke does with his Rinnegan in the Naruto lore.
This left fans eager to see if Fate would come off like the Konoha Ranger as well in Black Adam, especially versus godlike entities in Teth-Adam and the demonic Sabbac. Intriguingly, Fate’s Sasuke-like teleporting is left out of the movie — but after taking stock of what transpires, it’s a smart decision.
