How Black Adam Can Revive Justice League’s Dropped Legion of Doom Tease
Give the state of the DC filmverse after Black Adam, there’s a big opening for the Legion of Doom that WB axed to enter the picture once more.
Given Black Adam is bringing the violence to cinemas in a way that’s winning fans over, conversations are popping up regarding if Zack Snyder’s original vision for the DC Universe could be revived. Admittedly, it’s a toss-up because Man of Steel and Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice weren’t well-received by critics or fans. However, following the nervous state of the world Black Adam leaves the DCU in, there’s an opportunity for the Legion of Doom to be resuscitated.
Under Snyder’s stewardship, big things were planned for the villains, including solo movies for the likes of Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello). However, after Justice League, the entire scope was seemingly scrapped. The sad thing is the setup took place with Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor breaking out of jail and meeting Deathstroke on a yacht to set up a league of their own.
