Madonna, 64, And Daughter Lourdes Leon, 26, Look Basically The Same In This IG Pic
In the mother-daughter Instagram moment of my dreams, Madonna and Lourdes Leon showed off their super fit-bods, confirming that abs do run in the family! In the photo, Madonna wears an all-black, sheer outfit that looks to be layered over a corset. Her fishnet stockings, black gloves, and of course, gigantic silver cross necklace really round out this punk rock ~vibe~ (Side note: can I be Madonna when I grow up? She looks incredible and her IG is a whimsical gold mine)
Lourdes shows her cut abs in a black mini skirt (with slits up the sides, naturally) and a matching shiny black bra. Her long red hair and blunt bangs are giving me Ariel the Little Mermaid vibes if she had somehow washed ashore near Machine Gun Kelly, and not the wholesome gem of a man, Prince Eric. Her makeup is iridescent with hints of violet reminding me of what I tried to look like every day in middle school. “We’re in The Band!!! ????????????⭐️ #mybetterhalf,” the 63-year-old pop sensation captioned her Instagram photo.
Lourdes, a 25-year-old model, was shooting for Paper Magazine, which she covers this month. Madonna donned her best lingerie for emotional support, I can only assume. Famous friends sounded off in Madonna’s comments, with artist Miranda Makaroff commenting, “sisters ❤️????” and Real Housewives of New York star Leah McSweeny writing, “Omg ❤️????❤️”
Lucky for us mere followers, both mother and daughter have dropped their wellness routines. Madonna follows a macrobiotic diet, which is mostly vegetarian and sometimes vegan. She also hits the gym HARD—30 minutes a day, six days a week minimum. “I vary the workouts every single day,” her trainer, Craig Smith, told Daily Mail Australia. “She does a combination of circuit training, interval training, and resistance training. Dance is obviously a huge part of that.”
Lourdes is also very much into the healthy lifestyle, her dad Carlos Leon, a dancer and trainer told Hello in 2016. “She takes dance classes. She’s very healthy.” Both mother and daughter focus on greens in favor of sugar, Carlos added. Lourdes attended the dance conservatory at SUNY Purchase and told Vanity Fair that it was normal to spend 10 hours a day in the studio.
“You think that your body is not capable of something until you just have to do it,” she told the magazine. “My mom really went hard for that once she saw there was potential.” Soooo when do we start the cardio dance party, ladies? My fishnets and I are ready to go at a moment’s notice!
